The University of Florida is pleased to offer a 100% online program for the Master of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology (M.S. APK) with a concentration in Human Performance. Graduate study in APK in a broad sense, is focused on research in areas of physiology of exercise, athletic injury prevention, biomechanics, motor control and learning and sport and exercise psychology.

The online Master of Science in Applied Physiology & Kinesiology with a Concentration in Human Performance is designed to allow working professionals and academics the opportunity to advance or retool their knowledge across topics related to exercise physiology, athletic injury prevention, biomechanics, motor control & learning, and sport & exercise psychology.

Curriculum

The 30-credit hour non-thesis Master of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology with a concentration in Human Performance curriculum allows students to focus their studies within specific content areas of sport or clinical applications. The curriculum includes courses focused in strength and conditioning, sport nutrition, sport psychology, exercise physiology, biomechanics, and motor behavior.
